Penstabil mastosit atau penstabil sel mast adalah medikasi yang digunakan untuk mencegah atau mengobati gangguan alergi tertentu. Obat ini memblokir degranulasi sel mast, menstabilkannya dan dengan demikian mencegah pelepasan histamin dan mediator terkait. Salah satu mekanisme farmakodinamik yang diduga adalah pemblokiran saluran kalsium yang diatur IgE. Tanpa kalsium intraseluler, vesikel histamin tidak dapat menyatu dengan membran sel dan mengalami degranulasi.^[1]

Sebagai inhaler, obat ini digunakan untuk mengobati asma, sebagai semprotan hidung untuk mengobati rinitis alergi dan sebagai tetes mata untuk konjungtivitis alergi.^[2] Dalam bentuk oral, obat ini digunakan untuk mengobati suatu kondisi langka yakni mastositosis.^[3]^[4]
