• Kekel dari kata cackle bermakna tertawa terpingkal-pingkal
• Nono dari kata none bermakna tak ada/tiada

dihapus dari contoh kosakata Bahasa Osing yang diserap dari bahasa Inggris, mengingat kebenarannya diragukan. Kekel adalah kosakata umum bahasa Jawa yang berarti tertawa terpingkal-pingkal, sementara "nono" tidak berasal dari none, tetapi dari "ora ana" artinya tidak ada.
