LHB adalah berkas genetik pada kromosom 19 lokasi 19q13.32 yang mengekspresikan sub-unit beta dari lutropin. Berkas LHB banyak ditemukan pada kelenjar hipofisis, dan menginduksi spermatogenesis dan ovulasi dengan stimulasi kelenjar terkait guna mensintesis steroid.^[3]
